1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using HeHe (和合), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.

2. Description of Service

HeHe is a privacy-first event coordination application that allows users to create, share, and manage events. The service operates on a local-first, peer-to-peer architecture with end-to-end encryption.

Key features include:

• Creating events with customizable details
• Sharing events via encrypted links and QR codes
• RSVPing to events
• Managing attendee lists
• Syncing across devices via peer-to-peer relay

3. No Account Required

HeHe does not require user registration or accounts. All data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your event links and encryption keys secure
• Backing up any data you wish to preserve
• Understanding that clearing browser data will delete your local events

4. User Responsibilities

When using HeHe, you agree to:

• Use the service only for lawful purposes
• Not create events promoting illegal activities
• Not share event links with malicious intent
• Not attempt to circumvent security measures
• Not use the service to harass, spam, or harm others
• Not interfere with the proper functioning of the service

5. Content Ownership

You retain all rights to the content you create on HeHe, including event details, descriptions, and RSVP information. Since your content is encrypted and stored locally or transmitted peer-to-peer, we do not claim any ownership or license to your content.

You are solely responsible for the content you create and share through the service.

6. Privacy

Your privacy is fundamental to HeHe. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we protect your data. In summary:

• Your event data is encrypted and stored locally
• Encryption keys are kept in URL fragments, never sent to servers
• We cannot access or read your event content
• Peer-to-peer relay only forwards encrypted data

7. Service Availability

HeHe is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• That the service will meet your specific requirements
• The accuracy or reliability of any information obtained through the service
• That defects will be corrected

Because HeHe operates locally-first, most features work offline. However, peer-to-peer syncing requires an internet connection and relay server availability.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HeHe and its operators shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of data (your data is stored locally - we recommend backups)
• Loss of profits or business opportunities
• Personal injury or property damage resulting from service use
• Unauthorized access to your transmissions or data
• Any third-party conduct or content

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HeHe and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the service
• Your violation of these terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you create or share through the service

10. Intellectual Property

The HeHe name, logo, and application design are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy or modify the service or its content
• Use our trademarks without permission
• Reverse engineer or decompile the application
• Create derivative works based on the service

11. Third-Party Services

HeHe may integrate with third-party services including:

• Google AdSense: For displaying advertisements (see their Privacy Policy)
• Calendar services: For exporting events to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, etc.

Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

12. Termination

Since HeHe doesn't have accounts, there's nothing to terminate. You can stop using the service at any time by simply closing the application and clearing your browser data.

We reserve the right to block access to the relay server for users who violate these terms or abuse the service.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted to this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of HeHe after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
